Amin Sorour (HRM, C.I.P.M, EMD)
Amin stands at the forefront of the fast changing higher education and human capital development industry, known for his tireless work ethics and hands-on approach to organization and people development, whilst putting digital and systemic thinking as key must-have competencies for successful leadership in today’s world. Amin currently works as a Senior Manager, People & Organization Development at MSA university, while leading the newly established division for corporate and business services with an exceptional team and colleagues who strive to make a real significant impact within the field of human and organizational development yet on a global level.
With more than 12 years of experience in Human Resources and Organizational Development, Amin is adept in helping managers and employees align with business objectives, being proficient in organizing learning, fostering organizational change and organizational learning practices, He is a creative manager with strong leadership capacities and collaboration skills. Amin has conducted more than 10000 hrs of professional learning interventions across varied levels and fields, depicted in several formats (workshops, experiential learning, speaking engagements, focused talks, etc.).
Amin has led several organization and industry projects to land some attested magnificent results, reviving organizational core practices and leveraging human capital potential.
Amin insists to ensure well educated practices have been put to test, making learning & development for himself and his team a priority that pushes their limits and helps them always stay away from their comfort zone. He has finished his Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science at Cairo University, whilst being the youngest student to pursue a professional Post-graduate degree in Human Resource Management at the American University in Cairo, moving through his L&D career and obtaining a specialized certification for professional trainers. Amin has become an internationally Certified Professional Manager, a certification obtained from the American Certification Institute, USA, before returning back to the American University in Cairo to get another Post-graduate degree in Executive Management. Amin is always concerned about the betterment of our community and society, depicted in his scientific publication about “A Peace Value -Based Educational Training Program for Talk Show Hosts” published 2016 at MSA University - Faculty of Mass Communication Scientific Conference.
International exposure was a critical element in every single corner of his career and development path; closely working with many insightful leaders, consultants and coaches across Europe and UK in particular, while following very recent practices and forward thinking approaches by key business leaders and global influencers. Amin has a profound interest and passion to contribute immensely to the strength-based movement, led by Clifton’s work at Gallup institute, and pushed forward by the magnificent work of Marcus Buckingham who has been always an enlightening model to aspire to.
Amin is a committed and proud husband and father who believes in the critical role of families towards the wellbeing of the society, overwhelmed with the continuous support and assistance of his terrific wife, who brilliantly maintains the balance between her work and family responsibilities, while being able to turn raising twin boys into a joyful yet rewarding journey.
